Update to Greg Bird Glassing Charge
It was just over a week ago that Katie Milligan was admitted to hospital after being assaulted by her boyfriend National Rugby League player Greg Bird. It wasn’t the first time Bird had assaulted a woman while he was in a drunken state and it certainly won’t be the last time.
Upon her release from hospital, Milligan returned to the love nest she shared with Bird and removed her belongings.
Before anybody says “smart girl”, save your breathe because she has told the media that she intends to stand by her man that the police have got it all wrong. I bet they got it all wrong when he assaulted a woman in nightclub last January too, and when he was handcuffed outside a nightclub a couple of months ago.
Obviously, the glassing incident has caused some yet to be diagnosed brain damage.
Milligan has yet to give police a statement about the incident that almost cost her the loss of sight in one eye, but should she meet with police I’m sure she’ll tell them that it was an accident, that Bird became angry at somebody or something other than her and that in his drunken frustration he threw a glass at the wall or door, it shattered and a large piece of it hit her in the eye, that she was in the wrong place at the wrong time. That’s all she has to say to get the love of her life off the hook. I won’t surprised if it plays out that way, but what she going to say the next time, and believe me, given the volatile, woman-hating man Bird is when he is drunk, Milligan will be assaulted again, only the next time she may not be so lucky.
As far as I’m concerned Katie Milligan strikes me as the type of woman who would lie for the sake of money, and if lying about the events that occurred in Bird’s apartment a week ago this past Saturday is going to get her cashed up, then that’s what she is going to do.
If Bird did ask Milligan to lie for him (and I wouldn’t put it past him to do such a thing), I wonder how much she offered him, and if Milligan’s father had a hand in any financial agreement that Milligan and Bird may have struck to maintain her silence or lie about the incident.
I hear a day after she was admitted to hospital she was paid a visit by somebody who just happened to be connected to a law firm that happened to be connected to the management company that handles Bird’s affairs. Think they talked about money, that somebody presented her with a financial proposal that would help her get over her injury and put the incident behind her? I definitely do.
If I were her father, I’d be dragging her ass back to America today and with a hefty cheque in hand.

In my opinion she was bought off, paid to remain silent by the management company handling Bird. In fact the day after she was admitted to hospital, perhaps even the day, somebody with ties to his management company visited her in the hospital.
She is refusing to co-operate with police too.
Greg Bird’s professional rugby career in the NRL is in jeopardy. It was before he glassed his Milligan. He is still dealing with another assault charge after an incident with a woman in a nightclub earlier this year. The guy has some serious issues.

Hey Bob, thanks. The only thing free about my blog is the template I am using. I am self-hosted. Do you have a Google account because they can answer that question for you. The account is free to set up.
You’re asking the wrong guy about how to get indexed, but only because I can’t nail down one specific thing that works. Other than the fact that I am self-hosted, use feedburner, technorati, blogexplosion and submit page and site urls to dmoz.com and whatever search engine I can find that allows me to submit free of charge, I really don’t what to tell you.
Why did they delete your blog, did they say why?
I’ll help you out as much as I can, but I am not an expert. What is your blog about by the way, and where I can find it? Who knows, maybe I can host it here. I have a lot of tools at my disposal, some of which might be of use to you, but it depends what your expectations are for your blog.
